LS2 heads and intake?
I have an all stock LS1.. i have a chance to get LS2 heads and intake for free, they have about 70,000 miles in them and are comming out of a truck. Would they be worth putting on my LS1? I plan on doing a cam in the future many other mods. thanks

hadnt really thought about that. Do you guy's think ill notice a difference with the LS2 heads on it? i mean im sure the valves are bigger being the engine is a 6.0L instead of a 5.7.

The heads should be 243 castings. If so grab em.
Toss the intake, chances are it will NOT be the LS2 GTO or Vette intake but a truck setup. Designed for troque and not HP. Stick with your LS1 intake if you can't afford an LS6.

If the truck isn't a Traiblazer SS then they are not 243's so the parts are not off an LS2. But that doesn't mean I wouldn't take them anyway esp. if their free.
