Drag Racing Tech - do drag radials gain height back?

Here is the situation, 295/45/17 MT DR, 18 psi, radius of 13.0625 with the car on the ground. They measure 27.1" off the car with the same pressure in them.

As the car comes to speed (90 mph or so) would the tires "grow" to the 27.1" or would they still be 26.125". I just am not sure if at speed the tires would lose the flatness from 18 psi and regain the height like if they were pumped to 40 psi.

RADIALS dont GROW like a slick they may a little but it is not much. im talkin like a .25in were a slick my go 1in or more.

the 275/60 radial I am running now is about a 1/4 inch from the bumper cover and at 123+ they don't hit the cover.... radials don't grow hardly at all.
