Default FAST intake and 78MM TB for...

under a grand.

I've posted up a question int he newb tech section and got no responses, so I'll try here.

Im getting a mild cam ( 220/222 I/E, 581 lift, 112Lobe sep.), Lifters, Pro Magnum rockers, pushrods, timing set and springs, milling the stock heads to approx 10.8 or so compression.

I have the opportunity to get a brand new FAST intake and 78MM throttle body for just under a grand. Is it worth it, or should I just go for a LS6 intake...I've found a couple on Ebay for around $500.

What will the 90 give me over the 78? Seems I read that until up top the 78 and 90 are pretty much even.

If I could get a 90 for that cost, under a grand. Should I go with that or save the money and get a LS6...?? ARG

At one time a sponsor had both a fast 90 and TB for a little over a "grand".
