You need to buy you a skip-shift eliminator from SLP or somewhere like that. I bought mine from www.slponline.com I think that right now they are a little over 30 bucks plus shipping. The plug-in installation is a breeze with instructions included. If you have any questions or need anything don't hesistate to send me a pm...hope that helps man!

Can't you also remove the solenoid that actually physically moves the shifter???

I don't know how, and I am actually asking this as a question.

Or just get a resistor from radio shack - www.installuniversity.com has details.

I agree! best way to go.

average cost of skip shift 32.00+ shipping/handling (jegs, summit, etc...)
= one mod

hp tuners (around $500.00) = endless options to add mods.

32 dollars saved is $32.00 torwards software, so down the road +++++ mods, gonna need some tuning.
