Default Tranny or Clutch??

A few months ago my car started to act funny. Every time I would leave from a dead stop (reverse/1st gear) I could hear like a chattering noise ONLY when the clutch would catch. So anyway, yesterday I started my car and when I tried to put it in reverse it wouldn't go in. It just grinded, but wouldn't engage in ANY GEAR. What do you think this could be? A few of my friends said its most likely the clutch...

Sounds like the clutch to me. You can try and bleed the slave and put new fluid in it but chattering noise leads me to say it's the clutch.

Clutch. First thing that tells me that is it is in 1st and reverse. That is a common sign of an issue.

I'm going to replace the clutch soon, but I wanted to know what I'll need to change. Should I get a new slave etc.? I was thinking of the LS7 clutch too...
