Default Sensor?

Hello i have a 02 ls1 m6.Im not forsure what this is but behind my intake manifold i think is a sensor and i broke it, its about 2 1/2 inchs long and it screws in right behind the manifold and it has a clip connecting to it. If anyone has any idea what im talking about please enlighten me so i can replace it? Thanks

if it screw into the manifold its the map sensor, if its just right behind the manifold on the block its the oil pressure sending unit....

Yea it is right behind the manifold and yes it did screw in.

ok thanks a bunch!! But do you have any idea on how to install a 3rd gen rx-7 oil pressure sending unit there because i have to do that? Didnt that work out pretty good i dont even use it!!

gm sells a socket that goes over the top of the sending unit....

ohh i found out what it was it was the oil pressure sensor

its the same thing as the "sending unit"

ohh and there is no way the socket is fitting around that rx-7s sending unit that thing is huge!
