New LS1 Owners - Newbie Tech - TA LS6 intake on '00 Vette?

Will the LS6 intake off a 01 TA swap right over to a '00 Vette LS1?

Im looking to get one ASAP, and I just need to make sure that the swap is straight forward as it would be with a LS6 intake from a Vette.

Im pretty sure the intake manifold is bolton to all 98-02 applications.Its a good cheap mod as far as what others say around here.

SSW, that's what I was thinking, but I remember reading something about a different way the TB mounts to one of them...might have been on a Camaro though.

The throttle body on both the Camaro and the T/A are identical and both are cable-driven (throttle body & gas pedal are connected). The throttle body on the LS1/LS6 corvettes are drive by wire - meaning no physical connection between throttle body and gas pedal - thus the computer interprets the signal from the gas pedal and adjusts the throttle body accordingly.

The LS6 intake should fit onto an older LS1 vettle - just make sure that the intake has all the provisions (holes, etc) to accept a LS1 vette throttle body.

The only thing different is the steam tubes that are located under the intake. You'll have to get the LS6 ones.
