Default idling issue stock 01

Today all of a sudden my 01 t/a m6 is idling funny. It like to get down low at 450 500 rpm then go back to normal at around 800 or so. Wierd thing is is that every time I give it some gas it starts to go back down to 450 500 rpms. Was running perfectly fine, not throwing any codes either.

Sounds like a vacuum leak. Check your brake booster hose

check all your throttle body hoses.
You could have a craked hoses. remove them one by one.

My PCV hose had a carck in it and the car did the same. Also check the MAF screen. I've seen it where a leaf gets into the airbox and sticks on the MAF screen causing a weird idle problem.
