Bolt-in or weld-in? I don't see how that can't happen if you're following the directions. You do one side at a time so as to not allow the rear to move at all from the stock position.

"like half an inch back" how are you measuring this? just by eyeball?

Installation of relo brackets should not move the rear forward or rearward.
In fact if your rear moved rearward 1/2 inch your non adjustable LCAs would not bolt up.

they are bolt in and you can tell right away that they have moved back my brother has a stock ws6 and we measured from the back of the tire to the beginning of the back fender on both cars and the difference is half an inch. i bolted the driver side first and then the passenger side i had to move the whole tire back and force the bolt in and they bolted up but like i said it moved the whole rear end back half an inch

Did you do one side at a time? Like, leave one LCA connected while you pull the other one off, loosely install the LCA bracket while re-installing that LCA into the bracket, and then tightening that side, and then going over to the other side and repeating the procedure?

If you did it like that, the rear shouldn't really move. With only one LCA disconnected at a time, you still have the other LCA and torque arm holding the rear in place.

yup thats the way i did it the first time but when i got to the passenger side i had to pull the tire back and force the bolt into the hole or else it wouldnt go in, and thats wat i got so later that day when the day got a lil less hot, i tried adjusting it every way i could think of, with load on, off, tightening the spring bolt first then last. putting the lca in the top hole then at the bottom hole and still ended up the same way so im thinking maybe its the bracket thats drilled wrong

Couldn't you just shorten the length of the Lower Control Arm to center it?

mine did the same thing. driver side is perfectly fine, but my passenger side i can barely fit my hand between the tire and fender. seems to do it on both adjustment points.

and i did mine for traction and seemed to help

well the reason i installed the lca brackets is cause im working my way up, im first starting with chassis stiffing and suspension then ima go big on motor mods in which i will require all the traction i can have, thats why and the reason for the non-lowered car is because im also planning on true duals and depending on how low they will hang will determine if i lower the car a few inches or non at all. thats why? satisfied??

So are you guys measuring pinion angle or something to get better traction with these brackets? I think there are 3 bolt holes(settings)? I have a set on my 99 since I lowered the car.

LCAs don't affect pinion angle unless running one of the ladder bar-ish setups.

LCA's don't effect pinion angle but the whole purpose of the LCA Brackets is the get the LCA's pretty much straight when you lower a car. If the LCA's are pointed up or down traction sucks, that's why you get the brackets to get them back to factory specs.

well according to the info when they sell them, its suppost to give you a better 60 foot with non-lowered cars, and better traction
