Question what kind of transmission?
From what I understand I have a 4L60E transmission in my 99 Camaro SS. when I was looking for a converter on a website they said that 4.8, 5.3, LS1 and 6.0 liter engines have a differnet transmission called 4L65E...
so what do I have??

4l60e....the 4l65e came in the years after our cars....they came in vehicles like the trailblazer....has a few upgrades....but not much else...

I don't think the motor has to do with what tranny you have but the vehicle the motor is in does
