Default Major car question!

Ok, as some of u prolly seen my posts, i bought a A4 98' red orange z28, its really nice looking, good body, engine was rebuilt at straightline about 3000 miles ago, but ive had some problems. Week after i bought it the trans went out, i go it rebuilt with a shift kit for $1800. Now my rear ends making noises, and i got it checked out and it needs a new rear end SOON. So my question is should i get it rebuilt or out of a junkyard. I got a quote of rebuld for $1000, and i really dont have the cash for a new rear end. Im thinking a rebuild should be fine considering mines an A4, but idk how it would go out in the first place, i thought the rear ends were only a problem for m6 cars. I mean ive been having problems, should i take a loss and sell it, or get the rear end rebuilt and have tht new, new trans, and rebuilt engine? Cuz idk my car seems like a lemon, but hopefully after the rear end is rebuilt it should be good. But yea for rear end purposes should i get it rebuilt? Are rebuilt rear ends good?

Keep the car and rebuild that one. Its hard to tell what you would get at a junk yard.

Rebuild the one you have. Plus that way you can put whatever gear ratio you want in there while it's out of the car.

i would not invest ANY money or time in a factory 10 bolt.

I would either grab one from someone upgrading to a 9" or 12 bolt

or

Upgrade yourself

You can get a rearend kit from JEGs that has the gears, seals, bearings and everything else you to rebuild your rearend. They even include the gear lube to fill it back up with when your finished all for less than $350.00. $1000 is bullshit. Somebody really trying to take advantage of you!
