Default DIY PT88 kit

Just some pics of a DYI T88 kit I made.... shooting for 800rwhp. Its not perfect o the prettiest, but went to work with the mig and sawzall. Still need to grind some welds. Some specs on the kit:

1 5/8" headers
2.5" cross over pipes
PT88 T4 .96 A/r
44mm wastegate
3" Downpipe
4" race downpipe (for dyno and track use)

Car setup:

LT1 396ci
LE TFS heads
TH400 w/ 3600 stall
12 bolt w/ 3.42's

4" down pipe:

I made it with a 3" DP and I had an extra 4" V-band flange. So I asked the guy that I made this for if he wanted a 4" Dump pipe too and he said "hell yeah" So I suspect he'll run the 4" at the track and maybe on the dyno. Dont know if he wants to run it on the street.

Thanks. It aint the prettiest (like some of these badass shops put out with tig welding and such), but it should get the job done.

man, your being humble cause she does look nice. The welds might need a touch up of two but seriously, its a good looking kit and retains a/c. I would run the 4" DP on the street all the time. Would love to see the ppl's faces when you drive up with an open downpipe!

Thanks dude. Some of the welds look a litle big because I went over some "suspicious" looking spot Open 4" DP F T W! I suspect that the 3" DP will really choke off the power on this turbo.
