Default Best Cam for STS turbo setup?

Would it be the best to go with a custom ground cam or a pre ground cam? (kinda like the MS3 thread but not)...

well, customs are about the same price so like i did, I researched a lot on my combo and talked to a few different people from different companies and kinda did a happy-medium between them. It's gonna be a smaller grind than you think. Mine is a 222 .563 114 comp cam

my cam is from TRT as well. if your gonna tune right after the swap, then definitely go with a custom grind for your application

If you're going to insist a custom grind, then check one thing. . . If the cam rep doesn't ask you what your backpressure is, then they have no business grinding custom turbo cams. I'd be willing to bet that 4 out of 5 don't ask, or don't know to ask that question.

That's awesome, I thought of the exactly same cam but 114LSA for my A4 but wasn't sure on how it would work with a turbo system. Guess that pretty much answers my question. Whats the drivailty like?

Honestly, I'd like to see someone try it, though i don't think it would work well. Usually, folks choose a cam in that range to go along with a fairly wild turbo setup using a mid-frame 88 or equivalent, that will let the motor rev. With a 67 mm rear mount, the turbo won't let the engine rev where the cam wants to make power.

That's just theory, though. Let me know if I'm wrong. In this case, I'd like to be wrong, because then I could upgrade my own cam. . .

we are doing a Hummer with a 408, TFS heads, Victor Jr. etc.. and we are doing a
236/232 .601 .595 114. May not be able to dyno it, but the owner wants to take it to the track at least once. It should be a site to see; '07 kindof a metallic teal color, 24" wheels, Brembo brakes, 408, 4L80, rear turbo. It should be interesting.

Says you have a T60, my choice would be
224/220 113
or a 220/220 112

Too high of a lift, use XE lobes but the cam will work.

I agree, the 224/224 cam would be a good choice.
