Default A/F Gauge Install Assistance please..Need to find a wire!

Is there a wire to tap into underneath the dashboard to recieve a sensor from the oxygen sensor??


I tried the purple with white line wire but it didnt respond to anything when the car was turned on. Please help.

I went to the 02 sensor myself but I then hooked it up to the WBO2 later... If you don't get the WB it's just a light show... I'm going to be upgrading to one that actually reads numerical AFR because it sucks to try to read it from a LED... I usually just log with my HP tuners though when I'm scanning so i don't rely on it anyways...

Both the front and rear O2 sensors on Bank 1 have PPL/WHT wires for their high signal. It sounds like you tapped into the rear O2 sensor. Try using the C1-69 wire coming from the blue PCM connector.

i got it, ran it to the PCM through the passenger side grommet underneath the PCM.

ok now i have another problem.

After about a minute or two of functioning the gauges goes non responsive but still powered on.


It is tapped into by the PCM on the solid violet wire.


whats going on with my gauge??

could be normal... the narrowband AFR gauges are nothing more than a light show. On Startup when you're in open loop you'll see the gauge indicating more fuel (in the green) but when the car switches to closed loop the gauge updates slowly. It's not on constantly

it sits pegged to rich, and never moves again once entering closed loop.
