Default Need some AC Help.

Right before the Power Tour my AC stopped blowing cold. It was full of freon and I had know for a while that the compressor was leaking. So I decieded to replace the compressor, dryer and orfice tube. I did everthing today and it is still not blowing cold. The compressor is kicking on, it has a full charged, I flushed the lines, it's not leaking and I put the oil in the compressor. Anybody got any ideas before it goes to the shop. It's been a 100 degrees here in Florida the last couple days, so I have to get this fixed. The car is a 99 Trans am. Let me know what y ou guys think. Thanks.

have you checked your lines for any pinched lines that could be blocking refrigerant flow? you also might want to check your ac condenser for anything preventing air going through it.

Make sure the orifice tube is installed the correct direction. If it is when you pull it out if it has any debris in it replace the condensor. Are you sure it has the correct charge of refrigerant. What are you pressures on the suction and discharge side. They will tell you exactly what is going on.

When you pulled the old tube, were there metal shavings on it? Did you change all the seals at the dryer (2) compressor (2) condensor line (2)?

Did you have the system flushed and a vacuum pulled on it before refill?

What are the high, and low side pressures? Did you vacume the system?
