ok my girlfriend has a 2000 ws6 wich is still under warranty until NOV. 2003 the problem is that her engine light came on and the dealer is trying to tell her that her cats have been removed so her warranty is void. I call Bull Sh** because both of her cats are still there however the code that the car is giving is
P0420 Catalyst Sytem, Bank 1 efficency Below
i checked it with my predator's diagnostic's features. So exactly what is this problem and how can you fix it.
Im thinking its somthing along the lines of a bad 02 or one of her cats has completly gone bad.
sorry for the long post but im pretty mad that they are trying to do this to my girlfriend

If the cats have Indeed not been removed then the Warranty is Valid. Show the dealer the Magnuson Moss Warranty act. It state that the manufactures warranty is valid unless the aftermarket part specifically caused the faiulure. A lot of times the people will push women around with service stuff, its bullshit but it happens alot. Try taking the car yourself to another dealer.
