I am back!! I am back in the saddle fellas. I traded in my 00 SVT Lightning today, and came back to where I love..I picked up a 01 SS A4, Red w/Tan Leather. My next Q is...are all SS Camaros affiliated with SLP, or only some?..I see an SLP Sticker on my door, and The only thing on the car really is a smooth below, and it has a LM Cat-Back so I dont know what was stock there...Newbie on the SS Facts. Thanks...its great to be back.

MikeG - If your car is a REAL SS, then YES - it did go to SLP. SLP received the Z28 from Chevrolet, and performed the SS conversion to it. Your title will still state Z28 on it still. Perhaps your car didn't receive any additional options from SLP, then it wouldn't have the additional sticker on the passenger door, but it was at SLP for the SS conversion.

Have all SS's gone to SLP? Yes. Call SLP and give them your VIN #. If they can tell you what year and color car you have along with all the SLP options they installed then congrats, you have a real SS. If not, then you have a fake.

Well, since so many have said so, I guess I'm wrong. So the SS package that appears on the original window sticker was performed at SLP? Hmm...news to me, thanks guys.
