So whats the deal with the zo6, I know he aint stock no more, because he raced my buddies supra at bpu and pulled my buddies supra. a 516 rwhp TA should rape that zo6 if it was stock....

Does nobody else seem to think that there is something funny about a 516 rwhp car just barely pulling on a stock zo6 with an intake?!? HEllO!!! And besides I have met Ryan more than a few times and he has even told me and my buddy with his supra that he aint gonna tell people when he does do something to his car. I mean come on a 350 hp zo6 stays up with a 516 rwhp TA??? What the hell, and look at the other people on that forum saying the same thing that I am...

it all seems strange, 516 RWHP should rape a stock Z06, and in turn it should get raped by a 700 RWHP Supra, which it clearly did not. Just proves that Dyno numbers dont mean much on the street!

The T/A has 516 rwhp, the Vette is stated to have just a lid, and the Supra is making 700 hp.
the T/A may weigh 36-3800 lbs, The Vette can stay with the T/A due to reasons I stated, plus I forgot to mention they have a pretty tight ratio tranny, the Supra yes, the weigh a lot, I think your overexaggerating at 4000 lbs, more like around 36-3700. They dont make good torque, so they really depend heavily on their turbo(s) to spool up under load and high rpm to compensate and to keep them up in their sweet spot in the power band. That is why typically a high hp Supra will play catch up and pass you at triple digit speeds but usually the race is over or almost over.

The supra makes 700hp on high boost around 25 psi(give or take a few psi) range from what my friend that knows the owner says.. so that car was not on the boost making the high horse power numbers. But z06's do a good job of managing the horsepower with the gear ratio's, wieght and aerodynamics. Not to mention ryan realy nails the gears when he drives.
