tps low voltage, also 2.4% when closed???

tps low voltage, also 2.4% when closed??? Ok, I did do a search and every post I could find the problem was unresolved or not reported. My car will sometimes(not always) show 2.4% TPS open when the trottle body is closed completely(no slack in the cable). Then it will show 0% when closed. The voltage comming from the TPS is exactly the same under both conditions. I just installed a H/C and it didn't throw the code for the first week and now its throwing the code. Please help its driving me nuts.

I had a similar problem but I only got a light once for lean condition while I was cruising. I had two different readings but the same voltage and a high idle problem. Changed the TPS sensor and adjusted the idle stop (The throttle blade was also sticking, my fault). This fixed the high idle. I never got a code or light for the sensor. You might want to try the sensor.
