does the C5 coupe A4 have a dead zone around 30mph?
i have a 2001 C5 A4 and i can't get my transmisson to downsift around 30mph and its completly dead... this is how when im street racing cars are pulling on me... i was woundering if this was a C5 A4 problem and how to fix it

The car will not downshift at that speed. Have it tuned or change your gears and install a TC...... That will help solve your problem, but it will create another one........ TIRES....

theres an easy fix, but it could potentially hurt your tranny.
My brother races my old 3.23 A4 with the gear selector in 1st at 30mph, and it pulls way harder than 30mph in second, even harder than 25mph in D. However, the car has had tranny problems since I sold it to him, but he just can't stop doing it. The car is much faster like that.
