Default Stupid blinker, shattered?

Ok so I know how to replace the burned out blinkers and sockets already etc but my DS one just went out again. I looked and the damn bulb was completely shattered into the housing. I felt around and there was water in the light housing and it looks like theres condensation as well from the outside.

Now I have to take the housing off and empty it, how can I prevent water from getting in there again and blowing my crap up?

I have to say the blinkers are the most annoying part of these cars even though I love them.

Of most of the housings I have found have many cracks and holes in the back of them. Maybe from the heat of the light. I would think you need to seal up any cracks or just get a new one. Def make sure yours is not damaged. They are 45 ish dollars new from the dealer.
