Texas Members - Sold my car today

I'm saddened. I know it's just a car, but I still remember the day I drove her home from the dealer on Sep. '02. I never thought this day would come.

So long, Marie. Drove off with only 17770 miles on her.

I'm now in the market for a muscle car. We'll see what I end up getting.

Damn! Must of been hard seeing it drive away. Im sure there is another great LSX powered vehicle waiting for you somewhere. ;)

Put mine up for sale and is somewhat sold. Waiting for my brother to buy it. If he dont scoop it up by the end of month I will just have to post up again. :(

Yep you had a nice car Tim kept it looking great with the few little spills it had! And the wheels were just icing on the cake! Let up see what you buy next when you get it.

man... i know exatly how you feel... i sold my car not too long ago and it was brutal... i felt like shit watching my car drive away for the last time.

where did you list it to sell it?

That really sucks man. With such low miles why did you get rid of it? How much did you let her go for?

I originally posted it in a Chevelle forum testing the waters to see if anyone would be interested in trading for a Chevelle, etc. I started getting e-mails asking me for the purchase price. It ended up selling that way. I never pushed the sale for obvious reasons. She sold for 20k.


I sold because I never drove it. I decided that I'd rather have a muscle car that I can tinker with and appreciate in value instead. I'd like to thank LS1tech and its members for helping me learn about the car and learning what mods were right for me.

I've been eyeing some '67, '69, '70 Chevelle SS's, '64 GTO's and '65-'66 Mustang Fastbacks.
I don't want to do anything crazy with whatever I get. Probably just suspension, bigger brakes and aftermarket wheels. Gotta have that.

I'll definately post up pics of whatever I end up getting.


Are there any local sponsors that work on sbc/bbc, etc?

That was a nice looking car, Chevelle's are classic automobiles though
