Default engine sensor

searched and never found what i was looking for.

the sensor on the back of the block that is really tall and is none for breaking when you try to remove it. i keep wanting to say its the oil temp sensor but not sure.

if you know the name of this sensor please tell and if possible a part number would be great.

ahh thanks now if i cant just get the part number i was putting the engine in the other night and didnt notice the chain from the cherry picker was right on it and snapped the top of it off like a twig once it got some weight on it.

I just got Dave at the NAPA store to get me one. $37.00. I believe you'll find thats cheaper that GMs.
