Default Flushing clutch hydraulics question

I want to start routinely flushing my clutch hydraulic system. I've read the sticky and many threads on this topic.

In posts, some people say to drain the system and bleed. Others refer to just bleeding.

I have a remote bleeder hooked up and mity vac if needed.

Should I drain the system and just fill it up, then bleed through the remote bleeder.

Or, just push the pedal and crack the remote bleeder successivly until clean fluid comes out?

the second one if you drain the system than fill it you will have to take out the tranny remove the slave than bench bleed it reinstall and still have to do the second one.
