the 3rd cam looks the best to me. those smaller ones seem alittle to small for a 416 for a street/strip setup.

Choosing a cam isn't like picking the correct color jelly bean out of a jar. Ask an professional engine designer for help to achieve your goals for vehicle performance.

Personally black beans are my fav.

Bryan at LME has a cam quite larger for my new 416 motor, to be used street, top speed challenge, and drag racing.

I would go atleast 240 on the intake side and 250 on the exhaust. Those cam are tiny with a big motor.

There is some info on this forum about cams for these heads. Some that work and some that don't.

I have a TSP 233/239 in my 346 with CNC LS6 heads. 233/239 is the right cam for a 346, peak power at about 6200. The guys here are telling you the right thing, you need more stick for a 416.

Listen to this man. He knows what he is talking about.

To the rest of you, these are not cathedral port heads with 2.02 valves. You do not need as much duration on these heads to make power with them as you do with a smaller head.

Both Vengenance Racing and LME are making BIG POWER on their 416 L92 headed motors, and I would call them and go with a cam of their recommendation suited for your heads and given application and your given use for your car.
