I've always heard it the first way, and that's how I've always said it. Whether that's correct or not, I am not sure, but I believe that's how both Sam and his mother said it on the phone when I talked to them on separate occasions

I've always heard it pronounced cone-ee. The 2nd way sounds like a chicks name.

lol esp. after people replied saying they spoke with Koni, and they even pronounce it like #1...then someone else still has to go and vote #2
