Default question about putting a ported ls2 intake on a ls1

just wanted to know if anything special is needed to put a ported ls2 intake on a ls1...i know it will bolt right up but the ls2 tb is fly by wire and i would rather run a cable driven tb so is there anything special i need for the tb??

Why bother with the LS2 intake? It has been proven that the LS6 intake still outflows the LS2. If you got it for free I understand but it may be more hassle than its worth.

im talking about a ported ls2 intake not a stock one..stock the ls6 is better but once a ls2 intake is ported they flow really well..as a matter of fact there was a post about this a few months ago where they compared a ported ls2 intake to a ported fast 90 and the ported ls2 was within a few hp of the ported fast 90 up top and it actually had more lowend then the ported fast 90 that is why i am looking into getting one

u will still need a way to mount the cable bracket. UMI makes one, but the Holley 90mm TB comes with a cable adaptor. also, u will need the spacers to fit ur fuel injectors.
