First run was a 12.7 slipping it from 2800 so I threw that slip away in disgust.
2nd run
RT------.339
60'------1.920
330-----5.365
1/8-----8.147
MPH----87.70
1000---10.527
1/4-----12.547
MPH----111.95
This launch was from 3500, slipped it, shifting at 6700
3rd run (Best ET of the day)
RT------.034
60'------1.894
330-----5.283
1/8-----8.051
MPH----88.24
1000---10.420
1/4-----12.413
MPH----112.99
This was slipping it from 5000, and hitting every gear at 6700. The car sat for maybe a half hour, and seemed to still bog on the launch
Last run (Best MPH of the day)
RT------.226
60'------1.852 (best 60' to date)
330-----5.301
1/8-----8.108
MPH----87.35
1000---10.492
1/4-----12.471
MPH----114.94
This run all the shifts were around 6100 rpm, about 500 below my shift point. Launch was from 5000 again, tires all at 22lbs on sumithomo street tires.
Overall, I don't think the car did bad for being so hot. I think it's 96 degrees outside, and humid as all hell. I know for 1 the stock gears with the cam is killing me, a nice set of 373's or 4'10's would wake her up well into the 11's to compliment the cam. So I think the car did alright for the kind of day it was. Everyone there was running .5-.6 1/10th of their usual times so I guess I'm alright with that.
Any input is welcomed

What's done to your car engine (cam?/internal?) and suspension (shocks?/LCAs?/torque arm?/PHR?/etc.). I hope to be around 12.6-12.7 with bolt-ons (LT headers, 3" dual exhaust, LS6 intake, ported/polished TB, lid, stock M6 w/ 3.42's, stock suspension) on M/T 28" ET Streets. I ran 13.3 at 109MPH with a 2.2 60' time without the ET Streets and LS6 intake manifold :( What do you think?

Cool man. Congrats on those times.... sounds like there's definitely more in it though! Seat time can make all the difference! I need more of it personally and I want it now... LoL :drive:

2 things, why would you go w/ a slick and 2nd why would you go w/ a 28" tire? that would be like having a 3.23 gear(per say). and aslo the et street is waaaaaay over kill for what your doing, just go w/ the 26" MT DR and youll be golden.

I'm upgrading to heads/cam that will put out 430RWHP/420RWTQ this fall or next spring :) Might as well get them big enough now :) I'll have a new clutch and rear by then too :) I also got a great deal on them (less than $300 mounted on stock 16" aluminum z28 wheels) and the tread is all there (maybe 5 track passes at most) :)

Brandon is putting down 440+ and has no problems with his M/T DRs. Just to give ya something to think about.

Congrats on the new best Chris. Good job. Gears and colder weather will do your car ALOT of good.

I couldn't pass up the deal I got. I know they're harder to launch with than the DR's, but I like a challenge http://www.ls1tech.com/forums/images/smilies/LS1Tech/gr_burnout.gif

Good job and that is not bad at all considering the air conditions and that you've been out of practice for a while as well. :drive:
You will go quicker in the fall for sure.

I wasn't too concerned about the out of practice. I thought I did pretty well for street tires with the 1.85 60's. Wasn't too too bad. The car just didn't feel like it was pulling very hard but obviously the heat kills that. I was 3-4 mph off from what I was trapping end of last race season in 28* weather.
The stock gears kill me, I know that much, but I can't afford that 9 inch I'm eying up JUST yet. A nice set of 4.11's and a tire I'm well into the 11's for sure. The car pulls like a raped ape on cool nights already up top, just getting there seems to flop on it's face.
The car did decent for the temps I think, wasn't all that bad

Nice 60's. With DRs and good weather you'll walk into the 11s.

nice, almost 115mph in 90+degree air is strong. You shortshifted on that run too, wow. That's 120mph+ in 30degree air. :)

I think the car ran strong for the night. The 342's on my blown 10 bolt rear didn't help much either lol

chris, definately get some gears in that thing...i just recently put 3.91's in the goat and on slicks i went 12.4's @ 112 with stock internals. (my PB was before the gears in 30* air) once the cool air gets here you could probably smack an 11 off with street tires. congrats again buddy either way thats definately not bad for the stock rear and street tires in 90* heat
