F/S,F/T: 1998 Z28, Black, t-tops, M6
Well I've decided to go a different route and sell the car.
Car:
1998 Z28
6 speed
88,xxx
onyx black exterior
cloth charcoal interior
t-tops
traction control
monsoon w/ 12 disc changer
Mods:
American Racing 1 7/8" stainless long tubes w/ matching catted y-pipe
GMMG catback w/ optional oval tips
LS6 intake
SLP lid w/ K&N filter
BMR LCAs poly/rubber (red)
Hotchkis dbl adj panhard bar (black)
Black ZR-1s (17x9.5, 17x11)
SLP bowtie grill
Factory Hurst Billet shifter w/ Lou's short stick and black Hurst shift ball
Dual Aeroforce digital scan gauges in a dual Autometer gauge pod
I'm the second owner, got the car in August '05 @ 60,000 miles, it was a third car for the original owner; it is one of the cleanest 98s I've seen, especially for a DD. I've always used Mobil 1 5w-30, Royal purple gear oil, and castrol in the transmission. Always waxed atleast once a month, usually clay barred every couple months. I still have the stock wheels, panhard bar, and LCAs. I replaced the slave with the newer version at about 78,000 miles. New front tires and new tint on the door windows will be done in the next few weeks. I also replaced the passenger window motor 3 months ago.
Known problems:
-spider web in the paint on the rear bumper, this was there when I bought the car. It doesn't seemed to have gotten any worse
-last fall I was the recipient of a hit and run on the right nose. It required a new front bumper cover and a new right fender. It was repaired by the dealer.
-a couple of the speakers buzz
Price is $10,500, negotiable. I'm looking for a sedan, preferably an early 2000s import so let me know what you have.
-Car will be located in Houston until the middle of August.
