Water Pump Removal Hey guys! I am removing my water pump and now I need to remove the belt. How do I do this? I just want to do it right that is why I'm asking. Hope you all dont think I'm an idiot

If youre talking about the serpentine belt, which i think you are it can be loosened using the idler pulley. It should be on that diagram on your car that has the drive belt routing sticker. also check this site for pics http://www.ls1howto.com/index.php?article=27
