Hey there fellas, I got a 2002 camaro ss. I love it so much, the beautiful exterior, the exhaust note, the pull whenever you step on the gas. I noticed that whenever I go out theres a lot of people that want to race me. Most of the time I just ignore it, but sometimes I just want to smoke the shit out them to teach them a lesson lol.

So for those of you that like to race your camaros and take them to the track and whatnot, do you have any tips for me. I have specific questions like how to do a good launch and approximate rpms to shift at when going from gear to gear. I really appreciate any tips and advice. Thanks guys.

Man, where to start? You should probably browse through the Drag Racing Tech Threads.

+1. Check out the drag racing sections (results and tech) for ideas and tips. Do a search on any of the topics you might need help with. Definately check out the "Going to the track for the first time?" thread in the sticky section on the tech side.

Practice the launch and find what works for you. Try not to spin too much and not to bog down. as far as shifting, red line.
