Alright guys, I know everyone has been waiting on a GP on these. We only have a limited number to sell with these but I wanted to try and get something put together for the board. Here's what we can do:
We only have 20 systems available to do a GP with. Muffler options are limited by quantity. I will try to keep everyone updated on quantities while they last.
Dynomax: 18
Spiral Flows: 3
Sweet Thunder: 7
$409.99 + Shipping! This will save you $60 off of retail! The first 20 guys will get the GP pricing! This GP will last until through Friday July 20th! PM me for shipping quotes or with any questions you might have!
Thanks!

I'm in for a kit with the Dynomax Bullets - are those the loudest mufflers out of the 3 kinds?
Jon@Texas-Speed
07-09-2007, 11:49 AM
Yes sir, they are a little louder but I think they have a little deeper tone than the others as well. All 3 sound good though.

Do you have any sound clips of the three different setups? If not, which do you think sound the best? I will have my car in your shop in September/October for a new rear end and clutch, so this would be a good time to get a deeper sound. I like my Corsa, but if these sound better, I'll look into them.
Jon@Texas-Speed
07-09-2007, 04:49 PM
They are all fairly similar in sound. The dynomax are probably the most popular of the 3. I just like them b/c they are the deeper of them. All 3 sound awesome with a cam car! :drive:

Jon, might be interested. How are they compared to an open Borla? I have that damn raspy sound at around 2500-3000 and I would really like to eliminate that. Been dealing with it for over 7 years. No matter what head cam package and now the TSP 427 it still does the same thing. Thanks for the time.

Oh yeah, would want the loudest option available.

Can I get in on the group purchase with the dynomax and just have it sit around in the shop for a few months? :jest:
EDIT: 03 BUSA, Jon said that the dynomax mufflers will be the loudest, but not by much earlier in the thread.

Will these fit hooker headers?
3" mandrel bent tubing? Stainless?

So Dynomax has the deepest sound and is the loudest... I'll probably be calling very soon!

what about torque arm clearance? Are they designed around the stock piece? Any after market chassis mount T/A's that will fit?

I don't think any chassis mounted one will fit. You will have to run a transmission mounted version. TSP will have to confirm this though. Just from looking at the clearance there, it doesn't look like there is a chance in hell at fitting a UMI, BMR, Spohn, etc. chassis mounted torque arm with this system without modifications to it. Don't want to give you false info, but from my research/experience with the system first-hand I don't think it will fit.
I would still buy it for the power gains and the sound alone

I'm figuring it won't fit. I've got a chassis mount t/a with true duals right now, but the current headers are coming off. Trying to figure out what will be more work: Fitting the new headers to the current X, or fitting a new X to the current T/A. :jest:

They will go on the Kook's headers. We have had quite a few customers install them with the Kooks. You will have to play with them a bit until they are tucked up the way you want it.
No problem man! If you need anything else, let me know!

Just to clarify the layout of the system, are we looking at turndowns after the bullet mufflers, ending before the rear axle? The pic on the site is a little small and I can't tell. I noticed the price is $409 on the site as well, will it make any difference if I just go ahead and click through the online order?

07-11-2007, 05:53 PM
i noticed that as well. jon, is the gp supposed to be selling for less than the price on your website?
Jon@Texas-Speed
07-11-2007, 11:37 PM
Well since we are so busy, not everyone is getting through on the phone. I lowered the price on the net but there is only $20 systems available. When they are gone, they are gone. You are more than welcome to order online as well.

so $409 is the sale price and when these 20 are gone, the price will go back up to 459??

They are designed to clear the stock location. A body mount torque arm will not work with this exhaust.

I have a set of these with the DynoMax and Pacesetter headers on a stock longblock LS1 and here is a video clip of a 100shot N2O pass... you can kinda get a jist of the sound.
