DFW Folks: Good bar/club for 21st? My sister-in-law is turning 21 soon and we want to go out. What's a good bar/club to go to for a 21st. Someoplace that would make a big deal out of the birthday maybe? I keep hearing Pete's Piano Bar, but want more ideas.

I went to j. gilligans for mine and had the whole patio/covering area for our party. They didnt make a huge deal but made it worthwhile. I drank free all night, whatever I wanted, their drink specials were awesome, and they didnt kick us out or make us stop doing anything that we wanted to do.

Pete's is cool if you go once or twice a year. It gets old since it's the same set list every night, but for a first timer it's a good time. If you're going on a weekend, I highly recommend getting there before 9pm to get a table. It seems the cover goes up $1 every f'n week, but last time I was there it was $8.

Most places in Sundance sq.(Downtown Ft. worth) are fun. Like 8.0, fox n hound, The Pour House is sweet to. In Arlington I love Caves. real chill,but lots of fun,killer jukebox,one of a kind decor,and great drinks. Dallas go to Lower Greenville. The beagle is usually kickin. Or Addison(north dallas) has some good spots. Have fun!

Pete's is great if you want to stand for 3 hours. Try closer to 8:00 if you want a table, they are completely full at 8:30. They'll do a birthday deal but she'll be on stage with 5-6 other people with birthdays.
City Streets will make a big deal in the Karaoke bar if you tip a little. Not gonna get any recognition anywhere else though since they are also packed in pretty good on weekends.
For $20 at the Ice House they'll put her up on the bar with half the waitresses dancing and she'll get the "body shot" of her choice. The best deal in my opinion
It is a biker bar though so it might not be your cup of tea.

are you lookin to take her to a club or a bar?... there is alot of places to go say sherlocks in addison for a bar... down under in frisco, ummmm dicks last resort in down town that place is fun...and if she likes diff kinds of beer hit up flying sauser in addison 200 taps on the wall.. there is also austin ave in plano just not alot of good places in allen.....OHHHH WAIT i for got is she single... j.k
