My local shop wanted $450-500 to install my clutch, corvette tax maybe? Anyway i figured if someone from around here (willmar, MN) wanted to do the job for me i would pay them $300. thanks

Vettes are more difficult man. $450 is about on. Low side if you ask me. You have to remove the rear end, exhaust, torque tube, trans...Not easy and very time consuming.

how much will it cost if someone screws it up, you think private parties warranty work? Spend a little more and have some peace of mind.

I found out today that it is a 9.1 hour job so $450-500 is pretty good. Looks like i will just bite the bullet on this one!
