ok so the other day was playin xbox 360 and then out of no where got the 3 red lights of death. has anyone got this??? if so what did u do or do u kno any place round houston that can fix them for a pretty good price. i also cant send to microsoft becuz its been over a year since i had the system.

There was a news story recently where microsoft is extending the warranty to 2 or 3 years because of all of the xboxs breaking. You can probably get yours fixed by microsoft for free.

Microsoft has said that they will cover all units that experience the "3 lights of death" no matter if they are in warranty or not - Call Microsoft and demand they replace it (vs. fixing it which will mean your out a unit for 6-8 weeks)

not really they send mine back in a week. they replace it with a new one the three red light signals for over heat problems.

3 red lights is hardware failure... Mine had that just recently and it was one of the originals from the first launch. I just bought a core and put my hd on it.

If my new one breaks anytime in the next 2-3 years i'm definately giving them a call and demanding they fix it.

yeah I saw on bloomberg where they set aside 1.3B for xbox 360 recalls

hey good knews for you.. my friends 360 did the same thing about 2 weeks ago

and microsoft just extended there warrentys on all 360 to 3 years.. so you can send it in for free
