you should call TSP. they make the cams and are usually more than happy to talk with people.

Like it was said before. Talk to TSP. Also you didn't post what mods you have already. I have the the MS4 and like it very much it has a violent top end. Not too bad down low. I do not have dyno numbers yet because I've been busy erradicating other gremlins on my car. A couple things that no one stresses enough is that you will need to get supporting mods inline if you don't have the money to buy supporting mods do not do it. You will want to get injectors 30# SVO or bigger with either cam. Also if you have a M6 count on needing a clutch shortly after. My stock LS6 is sliping and soon to be replaced. If you drag race and don't have a built rear start saving for one.

They are both very large cams & will take a lot of tuning to get to run well on the street. The MS3 will be a hair better if you drive the car daily or what not since it will have less cam surge and better low end power. If you don't have heads & your just going cam only, why not go with something smaller like the texas speed torquer 2 or the TR 230/236 for excellent midrange power. It would be easier to tune and I think better for a street car, also you wouldn't need as many supporting mods to make them run their best

What are your goals? Is it a track only car?

Get the ms3. It is almost too much if you ever drive your car on the street. But I love the sound and the power it makes is awesome. and if your car is auto... you will need a converter.

Right now all I have is this actually on the car: Pacesetter Long tube headers, Pacesetter Y pipe, a MagnaFlow exhaust, and an SLP intake.

I also have not on the car: A Fast intake manifold, PRC LS6 64cc Stg. 1.0 Heads fully CNC Ported, PRC Double Valve Springs, Push rods, Double roller adj. timing set, Heads and Cam gasket kit, and a TSP Oil Pump. All from TSP!!!

I need a Cam to fit well with that to get over 400 rwhp. I'd like more but settle for at least that. And yes....it is a daily driver. I believe after the Cam I need lifters and Rocker arms and that will do it. Anything else ya'll can think of?

I also wanted to know which is better Length for my Push Rods? I got the 7.350.

with that setup a MS3 will throw you over your 400rwhp goal.

7.35 pushrods will be too short. get a checker to be sure but you will need 7.4's at least

I have an MS4 cam only car and my idc was in the 100-110 range and I have in the neighborhood of 410rwhp. With heads, 90/90 fast intake and MS4 he will put down more than 440rwhp. Stock injectors will not work. Get a set of 42# green tops like I did, it will be plenty of injector to support anything that you may add in the future like a bit of happy juice. But A set of Ford 30# should be fine.

BTW my car is a daily driver. I get 22-23mpg on the highway and 12-14mpg on the city. With a bit of tuning I could get it to run almost like stock no bucking or surging, but my low end response was a bit more sluggish than I wanted, so I changed the tune. The car now has better throttle response and a bit more torque down low. I still do not have any surge but there is a bit of low rpm bucking. I'm still playing with the tune to see if I can hit a happy medium. I'm a noob at tuning so it is taking a bit of time to get it perfect.

I am little bit of a noob, so tell how the MS4 is a better street version then the MS3. MS4 has two degrees more duration on intake side and cut on a 111 lsa. The MS3 is can be on a 112,113, or 114. Which means the MS4 will have more overlap then the MS3, making it less street friendly. Either way if you have a M6. You should get 4.10 gear to help out the bottom end with either cam.

There are a lot of cams out there that will give you over 400rwhp with the parts you listed, and be better in a daily driver than an MS3/MS4. If you plan to spend any time in traffic, you need a damn good tune to keep from hating your car/cam, perhaps more so with a manual than an auto, since the clutch finesse takes the place of a stall.

The best advise you're gonna get is to search - there are thousands of cam threads out there.

Good Luck!

I have the MS4 and used to daily drive the car. It is fine for a daily driver. It helps make some decent power too.

If you run the MS4 with the LS6 heads you will more than likely have to flycut the pistons
