I ran my 99 FRC ( fixed roof coupe ) 6spd, 42Kmiles, stock except for a dual cone cold air intake setup. Ran it the last weekend in April at Houston Raceway Park, temp was about 84 degrees and track was prepped pretty well. Car weighed 3125 lbs with 3/8 tank fuel, and with my 275 lbs butt was 3400 lbs even. I launched about 3400 rpm with a fairly quick release and quick lift shifts, I dont power shift the tranny. This was Goodyear F1 tires
Run was as follows
60ft- 1.992
330ft- 5.521
1/8th- 8.394
1/8th mph- 85.84mph
1/4- 12.930
1/4 mph- 110.35 mph

lol maybe a f-body on a serious diet. a bone stock c5 is nothing to shake a stick at.

i know typical m6 c5's are like 300whp and 315rwtq and the same for fbodys given the 300lb wieght differnece a lid catback ls1 should be around 325rwhp and 335rwtq which should be enough to hang with a c5 atleast until 104 when the vette goes to 4th where it will begin to walk away...
