You should have changed them yesterday!!!

It really depends on the cam... If its an agressive lobe, check the spring pressures at 15K and every 5K after that. If its a mellow lobe maybe check at 25K and every 5K afterwards. Too many variables will affect spring life, so just check one or two to be sure.

However you might want to verify that you did not get a set from the bad batch from last year that seem to be breaking all over the place.

I've got an old batch from a couple years ago....it's been around 15k atleast

On the 224 cam, im sure youve got a few K more miles, unless you really beat on it. Invest in a spring tester and pull a couple just to test. Its only an hours work or so. Worth the piece of mind, IMO.

what abr 921's ? same ? checking every 5k after 15k or 25 k? mine got a 111
