Default Pics of Strano Springs Installed!

Hey guys: Finally got the springs installed! It'll take some getting used to and I think the front is a lil' higher too. I took out the rear isolators and the rear is holding about 50 pounds of audio stuff, (box mostly). I did a quick measure and it all measured out to about 26" all around.

When I get my Koni's and install the front's on the lower perch, would that lower the front a 'lil more??

Anyways, critic my pics. Oh yea, I had to drive about an hour to this place so the car got really dirty and buggy.

looks good, but it definitely looks lower in the rear...did you try it with the rear isolators?

You can't install Sam's springs on the lower perch of the Koni. Only a stock size spring will work for that. With Sam's springs if you try the lower perch the nut at the top will not tighten down.

Car looks good BTW.

It's really not recommended to use the lower perch w/lowering springs. You'll end up about another 3/4" lower than you are now, and 25-1/4" is too low.

When you get the Koni's and use the lower perch it will sit lower. Put the isolators back in and se how the stance looks. I think you will be fine if you leave the rear isolators in. I kept mine in when I put my Hotchkis springs on. I am also on the lower perch on the front with my Hotchkis springs. I have had no issues but then again this is not my daily driver so it is not a big deal for me.

Looks good, except the rear does look a little too low. I've got Strano springs and Koni SA's all around as well. I had the heater hose mod on the rear springs when I still had the stock springs, now that I installed the Strano's, the isolator went back in. It has a nice stance to it, just haven't gotten around to taking pictures.

The rear springs take a few months to settle in. The fronts should stay at around 26", but i found that the rear springs start at 26-3/4" then settle another 1/4" or more over time. I would put the isolator back in when you do the koni's and leave them on the top perch. Then the rear wil stay a tad higher than the front, which is perfect. Bad things can happen if you go lower.

dont use the lower perch, as per strano. i put my isolaters back on to raise the rear a bit. it was too low with my full exhaust. even still, almost undrivable. after i try racing it once as is, ill see if a custom exhaust is needed.

NICE STANCE!!! Our cars look the same I too have a system in my trunk and it weighs the car down like crazy, especially if its got a full tank of gas. Like everyone else states though- throw back in your rear isolaters and it should help out a tad and then once everything is settled down Im sure it will look good- hell it does now! If you really wanted to the front to lower some more you could always throw an iron block in there Anways, nice car- even better stance!

Hey Batmobile, I might be purchasing the same wheel setup that you have. Do you have any more pics of your car with the wheels and tires from the back so you can see how fat those tires are? Let me know when you get a chance.

Thanks,
