I'm looking at getting the zzp shift kit. On their site it says "may cause hard part failure." Is this just to cover their a$$? Never done anything to the tranny before. Just want to make sure it's good to go. Also, anyone have anything good or bad to say about this kit? Looks easy enough to install from the instructions in the above sticky.

Better to get hptuners.com and just firm and switch up the shift points shift kits always tend to add little more wear and tear on your tranny.

they come with several options when you put it in. slightly firmer up to the race side of things. the instructions on their site list this.

There you go again! Trying to make me spend more money!! I just want to make sure I'm not going to blow my tranny by adding a shift kit and using the hp tuner.

Yeah and I'm getting closer! Like I said, just gotta work on my 60' times. My best run against you was with the diff score protection kicking in. I gotta get a little bit lighter with the gas off the light. Plus next time we go, I've got new mods to try out! Oh yeah, btw :hijack: Thanks for taking it off topic!! lol!! j/k

As long as it's not over 95 I'll be down. Those hot ass days just suck at the track with the humidity!

ZZP shift kit is in! Very nice difference for only $30! 1-2 shift is much faster now!! I do recommend having some extra trans pan bolts if you intend to do this though. I had two snap off while I was trying to reinstall my trans pan. I was using a torque wrench too. They just seem real weak to me.

Still gotta get the LC-1 installed, and keep on playing with the hp.
