Default Breaking Point On maf

When shoudl I draw the line on running a MAF? I will be pushing ~15#'s on a LT1. Can I get rid of it with a stock ecm?

You can keep it, it will be blind to anything after a certain psi level anyway.

We've got my 383 pushing 13-14psig, and the MAF is maxed out by the time Im barely getting into boost. Alot of persuading with the pcm to get it to provide the correct amount of fuel.

Even with the MAF; changes in temp, humidity, etc. all are cause for adjusting the tune. Its a pain in the *** like you wouldnt believe.

Exactly why Im swapping to Accel DFI

speed density tune you will get the best out of your set up with that if you are boosting and i am sorry to tell you but 15lbs will not be smart on a stock block to the top end and pistons and you will be fine if done right hope to hear from you letting me know how things worked out
