I have a 96 LT1 with a 4L60E with 3.08 at the rear. I took it to the eigth mile track and my best time is 9.5 and the only mods are headers and a k&n filter. I think my next step is gears is there a major disadvantage to 4.10? It's seem 3.73's are what people are going for in the quater , but for eigth mile would 4.10's be to my advantage? I could care less of drivng on the interstate, just want better times! Any help woud be greatly apreciated!
