Midwestern Members - Chicago area shop for custom headers?

Anyone have any recommendations for a shop to do custom long tubes for my ls1 mustang swap?

Anyone have any good experiences with shops closer to the city perhaps? Decatur would be a bit of ways to haul the car.

a set of 351w fox body headers work with minor mods. Basically cut the flange off and weld on the LS1 flange. We just did this in a 92
otherwise Behind Bars Race Cars in Lake In The Hills does great work.

We can do them for you, we have a custom set for a LS1 Monte Swap here right now we could show you as well.

Did you have to move any of the pipes or just swap flanges?

We have a mandrel bender and we can fabricate a custom set of headers for you if needed. Or we can modify an existing set. :)
