Tr224 on 112 Tuned with predetor tuning
OK my car is 2002 chevy camaro . Long tube headers, ported polished tb , coolant by pass, underdrive pully, ory with two single chambers at the very end, slp cold air intake with kn filter, Came with the ls6 intake and it has tr 224 cam on a 112 lsa. It only dyno at 371 hp and torque was 366, Every one else in there i talk to with close to the same package has 20 more horses and 20 more ftlbs of torque. The tuner keeps sending me tunes to try so i down load them to the predetor and still nothing improves take it to the track every week , best time 8.29 at 89.45 mph. best short time was 1.98 Did anyone in here get there car tuned with predetor and if so would you be willing to email me the tune? Get the car to a 1/4 mile and compare your trap speeds to those with similar combos...sounds like you are getting too hung up on the numbers which do not mean squat.
If the car runs good and has good throttle response, and the curves look right on the dyno, it is probably OK.
If you keep retuning in an effort to make more power, even once the A/F and timing are dialed in, you are wasting your time.

That's A LOT of timing! As far as I know, those cams normally will run best around 27~29* of timing unless you have some special situation (i.e. you live in a high altitude environment). If you've got it floored and it's reading 38.7* of timing, you could potentially be looking at a major problem...
