12 Second Club - LT1 in the 12's maybe????

Okay I have a friend who just did some work to his car and he think he going to run low 13's. The car is

355forged LT1 P/P LT1 heads 236/242 558/570 112 cam 1.5 RRs hooker LT Headers 4.10 gears M6 can;t remember clutch but it;s not stock

I told him to expect mid 12's with this setup because I had a similar setup with a Lt4 Hotcam kit and could hit 12.80s all day

What do you guys think?

I hope 355 H/C lt1 would get 12s. Hell theres cam only lt1s in twelves. If he could drive and launch I say 12s

yea I think he is just pestimistic(sp?) He is scared to get good tires too because of that 6speed he doesn;t have much faith in the rearend...which i understand but i think he should at least get some DR's to give him a fair shot

He should be in the 12's easy.

as long as there is any control in his right foot or any type of suspension mods i would call a 12 second pass a given.
