Re: Cheap H.P. upgrades????
My exhaust has already had a little work done to it. I was thinking about getting an off-road y-pipe, and adding a cut-out.
Then later long tube headers.

Re: Cheap H.P. upgrades????
Timing Tricker works great under 1 dollar and you WILL gain HP! I have 2002 TA also. You unplug the IAT sensor, near top of air box on driver side, and push a resister into socket on end of wire. I started with an 4.7k ohm, tells the computer the intake air temp is about 57 degrees. Now I use an 6k ohm = about 47 degrees. Like night and day, motor runs so much better! And you can put it all back the way it was in 10 seconds. 3520 ohm = 68 degrees 7280 = 41 go too much advance it will set off a knock sensor which will set itself back again when you put in about 5 gal of fuel. Do a search on Timing Tricker. I bought 5 resisters at Radio Shack for 99 cents!!

Hi
Lid, cutout, ported TB, Free ram air, SLP/80mm MAF, tuning the computer, MAC headers.
If you M6 go with better clutch for more performance!
Good luck

The free ram air mod is cutting the bottom of your airbox intake hole bigger and under the airbox, there is a small slit that you can cut bigger to get more air. A ported Throttle Body is taking what is there and making the hole bigger, but I recomend buying one, you can easily mess up your throttle body by doing it yourself.

Re: Cheap H.P. upgrades????
no you still would want to replace the lid with an aftermarket one even after doing the free ram air mod...
i say buy a lid, catback, do all the free mods, and start pulling weight out

you will see night and day diff with lid, you can use my sig as a good bolt on starting list, I will be doing ls6 cam, headers with oyp when my ext warrenty ends ( if I can wait that long)
the cool thing is my predator can retuned with a custom tune and will be all I need on that end.
