Default Plug wires hitting EGR tube. Problem?

My EGR is blocked off, but the friggin pipe is still in the way of, well, everything I put on some new plug wires I got today, and noticed that the wire is hitting the EGR pipe. I didn't notice it with the MSDs because the boot is about 3ft long on those. Does that little pipe get hot enough to melt the wire? Should I wrap the wire? I put the MSD on for the time being (7 stock + 1 MSD, is that an issue?). Thanks!

I would try a Moroso wire loom separater before you jack with that little pipe. Zip Ties that are the color of the wires would work well too.

Why would you change the MSD's out anyway?
