Street Racing & Kill Stories - 350z vs. 97 z28

My buddy just bought a 6spd 350z and tonight we finally raced. From about a 45 roll, i'd have about a car on him by 85. From a 35 roll, I had about 2 cars by 85. We raced once from a dig, but the camera messed up. I spun all through first and was still in front, once i hit 2nd i left him. I had about 4 cars by 60ish.

The vid starts right after he honks, from about 40 mph.

That's why I asked what year it was... an '03 is a different animal than an '07.

It is a different car I have rode in both, but do you think its a 2 to 3 car difference that is probably what a half second.?

Yeah... with the trapspeeds people are pulling in '07s, it probably is about that much of a difference.

yea sorry guys its an 03. my buddy got rid of his 2002 v6 firebird for it...must be dissapointed he spent 14K on a car that can't beat my 10 year old lt1. We had the camera ready for the stoplight race, but it messed up and didnt catch any of it at all.

:jest: I actually miss the sound of my LT1. A cammed LT1 sounds niiiiiiiice!

07 have better trap speed but thats it really mabe 1-2 tenths quicker. still not on par with a ls1. and dont trap with an ls1 either. maybe a auto 2:73 geared convertible lol. with 100K miles

07 have gone 13.2 at 106

I beat a 350Z when I was pretty much stock too. It's not that hard to do lol
