Ive always heard that for a bolt on car, that macs are fine. but once you get N20, cam or even heads and cam its worth it to go with long tubes. and the fact that you have a 383 and a large cam it might be worth it. i know it will sound better too. i have macs and id like to see the gains too... go for it! BTW how much HP is your car makin?
