Default Cam install starting this morning!

Everything in my sig is going in today! Hopefully ill have it running by this evening! Wish me luck, and ill probably be on throughout the day with a question on something!!

GL Man, make sure you don't break anything as it's hard to get replacement parts over the weekend..

why does it seem like the rods to hold the lifters are too long?
i shouldnt have to remove the A/c condenser should i?

Yes, you have to at least raise the condenser up high enough to slide the rods in and to pull and re-install your cam. By the way , I just installed the same cam that you have today and so far everything has gone perfect. Good luck!

thanks! once i typed it i noticed that i missed the step on ls1howto on how to raise the condenser up. Cam is installed, went in great
valve springs tomorrow!....i got fed up with trying to get my leakdown tester to hold the valves up correctly

I saw a thread last night were some guys had trouble with a leakdown tester holding the valves. If you have problems try tapping the retainer lightly to loosen the valve locks. If it doesnt work you can just use the TDC method. I beleive its covered in the ls1howto write up

SHES ALIVE!!! started up perfect, great oil pressure, no leaks of any sort...im so shocked to how good she idles on the stock tune, stock throttle body hole. would like to thank some sponsers ws6store, patriot performance, and thunder racing for helping me out, and getting the job done! also couldnt have done it without you guys on here! and i would HIGHLY recommend the ls1howto.com write-up!

no i believe the lsa is 112 it is the patriot performance 226/226 .585/.585 on 112LSA...those are the specs from patriot
